The Club
Apocalypse MC is a brotherhood of bikers who wants an alternative to the numerous "coffee clubs" that exist around the country.
We are a club without written down rules. Instead we have some common basic principles we live by.
Apocalypse MC is not a club with regular opening hours. It is a club which exists for the members 24 hours a day. Members don't just attend the club, they are the club, and represents it no matter the time and place.
We are not registered either as a club, company or association. Clubhouse and premises are owned by the club. This way we can stay independent, and the club is not depending on any kind of funding, or financial support from outside.
Apocalypse is an independent, neutral non outlaw MC biker club, and does not support other specific biker clubs. However, no club are discriminated and all colors are welcome in the club as guests.
Apocalypse MC is approved in Denmark as club by Bikerfonden.
Motorcycle Club or Brotherhood
What makes Apocalypse MC a brotherhood? What defines a brotherhood and how does it differ from a regular motorcycle club?
For outsiders it can be hard to distinguish between the Brotherhood of Apocalypse MC and the community in other MC clubs. However, there is a huge difference. Of course there are similarities between our brotherhood, and other regular MC clubs, but where a rugular motorcycle club would normally have the motorcycles as their main priority, the brotherhood of Apocalypse MC values their brothers more than the bikes. In fact, in our brotherhood, members are valued above all other things. Many motorcycle clubs have specific requirements towards the make of the bike you ride i.e. Harley-Davidson or Triumph. In Apocalypse MC we set up specific requirements for our brothers in stead. Whether they choose to ride a Harley-Davidson, Triumph or even other brands, is less important. There may even be circumstances where a member, a brother, for whatever reason, do not have a motorcycle, but in that case it does not alter the fact that he is still a part of the club. An indispensable asset for the club. A brother, and that outweights everything else.
The above is basically the fundamental differences we see between the majority of motorcycle clubs and the brotherhood of Apocalypse MC.
Where a motorcycle club is often a fun spare time activity, the brotherhood of the Apocalypse MC, is a lifestyle.
Our fortress
If a brotherhood has to work, it requires that the members can meet each other at any given time. To meet this requirement, Apocalypse MC owns a property in Dybbol outside Sonderborg, where a large room has been decorated in an ancient style. The club owns both the land, property and buildings, and there is almost always someone in the club. This way the brothers can always meet. The club is the natural meeting place where members can be themselves. The club posesses a large grass area with fireplace, and the possibility of accommodation in tents. This camp area is used all year round as Biker-Camp for visitors or bikers on tour, who want a place to stay with the possibility of shower and toilet facilities in the clubhouse. There is a large outdoor stage for live bands and a large parking space in front of the club, exclusively for motorcycles. So if you are on tour in Southern Jutland and need a place to party, or stay overnight, then come by, and meet us in our fortress in Dybbol, Sonderborg.
Our bikes
Although the brotherhood is the overall central point in our club, an almost equally important element is our bikes. Our bikes are a part of our identity and they act as a direct response to this when we're on tour. Members decide for themselves whether they ride a Harley, Indian, Triumph or maybe even a Jap. However, there is in our club generally a greater interest in American and English bikes, and when members talk about rebuilding and power tuning, it is brands like S&S, RevTech, Axtell, Delkron etc., that are mentioned. When someone needs to nail Edge's Rocket III, the talk is about Dux engines, TP engines, turbochargers and NOS. However, there is the clear benefit of the members running the same brand, and especially when we're talking HD, that you can easily share knowledge and parts. But as mentioned, members are welcome on all kind of bikes, regardles of the brand. We do have a requirement of a displacement of at least 1200 ccm.
How to become a member
A brotherhood is based on mutual trust and respect. That is why it takes a very long time to build up a brotherhood. The most important thing is not having many members, more important is it that the members are all someone we can trust, and ultimately entrust our lives. It is important to us that the members are passionate about the brotherhood and unity, and at the same time can live by and respect the club's basic principles. A potential new member, always starts attending the club as a guest. If a known guest expresses a desire for membership, and the other members thinks he has potential, it can be suggested at an internal meeting, to take him in as a hangaround. If it turns out there is grounds for more, the hangaround can be upgraded to prospect, and he will obtain the right to wear the colors on his back. He is then equipped with a back without the centerpiece. From this point he will be measured and by the other members, for a given time until it can be decided wether he is ready to be adopted into the Apocalypse family. If he passes the time as prospect, he is equipped with the full color patch. All patches remains property of the club, and are only intrusted to members as a loan.
So if you have interest in becoming one of us, there is only one way. Meet us in the club, learn to know us and finally, let us get to know you!
Women are not adopted as members, but are welcome in the club as guests.
